This course looks to cover half of the material from BMB 211 and a portion of the material from BMB 212 but is not equivalent to either. Key concepts missing from the course to better match BMB 211 are carbohydrate, nucleotide, and amino acid metabolic pathways as well as photosynthesis. As this course is not equivalent to any of our biochem courses, the student should reach out to their program of study in order to determine if they will choose to allow BMB 199 to be substituted for a degree requirement.

This course is not a close match to any ONE PSU EE course. There are elements of EE 210, EE 330, and EE 387 in this course, but not enough of each to count for any of these courses. For an EE major at PSU, this course should NOT be taken -- it won't satisfy any degree requirements. For other majors, it is up to the major department to decide whether to accept the course to meet any requirements.
