Evidence of English Proficiency
Native speakers of English and students who have received a bachelor's degree or graduate degree from Australia, Belize, British Caribbean and British West Indies, Canada (except Quebec), England, Guyana, Republic of Ireland, Liberia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, the United States, and Wales do not need to provide verification of English proficiency.
Course Registration at Penn State
It is possible that not all of your choices will be available. If you MUST take a certain course to graduate, please think carefully before coming to Penn State. We cannot guarantee enrollment in any courses so it is very important that you have some flexibility.
Departments with Course Restrictions:
- College of Arts & Architecture
- College of Communications
- Department of Kinesiology
- School of Nursing
- Department of Psychology - NO GRADUATE LEVEL COURSES will be approved
- College of Business - Courses for Exchange Business Students
